Fern Lovely Home is a privately owned rental house on Koh Phangan, Surat Thani, Thailand. This policy covers the website at flh-booking.phangandev.com and the booking/contact services offered through it.

2. What data we collect

We only collect data that you actively provide:

• Booking requests — your name, email address, phone number (optional), check-in/check-out dates, and any notes you add.
• Contact form — your name, email address, and the message you write.

This data is stored in our booking database so we can manage availability and respond to your request — not just forwarded by email.

If you book through Airbnb instead of this website, your reservation details (guest name, dates, and last 4 digits of your phone number) are synced from Airbnb into the same booking system to keep our calendar accurate. That data is governed by Airbnb's own privacy policy as well.

We do not use tracking pixels or advertising cookies on this website. For visitor statistics we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that we host ourselves — it counts page views and referrers without setting cookies, without collecting personal data, and without building visitor profiles. The site also stores your theme (dark/light) and language preference in your browser's local storage only — this stays on your device and is never sent to us.

3. How we use your data

Booking and contact data is used exclusively to manage your stay or respond to your enquiry — to confirm availability, send you a confirmation email, and coordinate check-in. Your data is not shared with third parties, sold, or used for marketing purposes.

Email notifications are sent via Gmail SMTP.

4. Data retention

Booking records are kept in our database as a record of past and upcoming stays. Contact form messages are retained for as long as necessary to complete the enquiry. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

This website is served over HTTPS with TLS encryption. Booking requests are protected against spam and abuse using rate limiting and bot-detection measures.

7. Third-party services

This website links out to WhatsApp and Google Maps for convenience — these are external services with their own privacy policies, and no data is shared with them through our site. We do not embed any third-party tracking or advertising scripts.

8. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
